Over the coming year my studio will be the location for a variety of monthly exhibitions or ‘visual trials’. Sometimes existing artefacts will simply be exhibited. Maybe the space will be adapted or changed in some way or used for collaborative ventures. Guest curators could even be invited. Audience interaction and feedback will play a vital part in
the process.
The bottom line is I want to take a year out of gallery chasing to concentrate fully on process, ideas, context, and communication
with an audience in order to build up a coherent body of work
filtered through the structure of 12x12.
